Peak Leaders offer exiting snowsports and adventure courses to their clients and had only one problem. Their web site was uninspired and a lot of effort to maintain. After contacting us here at Legion Industries we looked at their processes from the ground up and helped streamline day to day web management issues. 

Bespoke Design

The Peak Leaders site was created using the bespoke Legion Industries CMS system which tailored specifically to their needs. SEO was a big aspect of the project and by simply using sensible, white hat techniques they have seen a dramatic improvement like for like with rival companies in this highly  competitive market. 

Web site Hosting

The Peak Leaders also had a problem with where the site was hosted, drop outs and 500 errors were the norm. We deployed the site on Legion Industries super secure, super high spec servers; gave them a hug and away they went trouble free in an entire year (with higher visitor numbers).

Taking control

The choice to host with us gave extra benefits. Mailing lists (usually expensive) come as standard with all our hosting packages and the Peak Leaders have loved keeping in better contact with their customers.

The Peak Leaders were so in love with the sexy aesthetic Legion Industries delivered they asked if we could handle their marketing and promotinal material design. How could we say no? We delivered high quality advertising material for ski and snowboard magazines. Posters and flyers for school open days and even a couple of pop-up exhibition stands.

The Peakleaders website went live in August 2008 and since then we have have maintained excellent relations with the Peak Leaders which we believe is through our professionalism, friendlyness and a no-bullsh*t approach to tasks and prices.

Dopeshots is probably the most well known sports photography company in the UK. Whether its on location with Fall Line Ski or Document Snowboard magazines Russ Shea and the team at Dopeshots always produce the highest quality of sports photography, many of which end up on the covers of said magazines. 

We’re not worthy

Have been long time readers of Document Snowboard it was a real honour to work with Russ and the gang. They were very hands off and gave Legion Industries a real license to “do what we want” with their brand. This shows the confidence Dopeshots had in our abilities. 

CMS Lite

Russ was unsure about actually maintaining a site. Feeling it was too much of an administrative burden. We know how busy our clients are so making something complex enough so that it is very easy to use is our problem. We gave Russ a blog and a “Picture of the month” section and he has never stopped updating them. A real testiment to how simple we made the process of maintaining websites yourself. 

Flash Bang Wollop

Dopeshots is sleek, cool company and we needed the web site design to fit with that so using a cool technology is a must. Thats where Flash came in. We used a number of plugins and development tools to create a simple to use and maintain flash gallery, presenting the photos in a style fitting with the artist. In othersords Dopeshots loved it!
